About Us

My interest in art and community service has been deeply influenced by my family and our connection to the Chihuahuan community. Because my father is originally from Chihuahua, I developed a strong interest in understanding the challenges and inequalities faced by children in that region. At Culver Academies, I completed a semester-long research project focused on the needs of these children and the ways cultural barriers and social inequalities impact their daily lives and opportunities.

This work inspired me to combine art with service as a way to create meaningful impact. My father has had a lifelong passion for art and has always carried a deep appreciation for its ability to connect people and express emotion. His influence has shaped both my appreciation for creativity and my commitment to giving back to the community.
